These terms are an agreement between you and HSL Bedrock Holdings, LLC ("Authentk," "we," "us," "our"). By using Authentk, you agree to these terms. Please read them. They are written plainly and exist to protect both you and us.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Authentk. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, do not use this service.
Authentk is a photo verification service. It allows you to create a cryptographic proof that a photo was real, taken live, by you at a specific moment in time. This proof can be shared with others via a link so they can confirm the photo's authenticity.
Pro subscribers can also send guest verification requests — a link that invites another enrolled Authentk user to take a live photo to prove they are real. Guest verification records are ephemeral and automatically deleted within 24 hours.
Authentk verifies that a photo was genuinely captured on your device at the time stated. It does not verify your identity, your name, your age, or any other personal information. It is not an identity document and should not be treated as one.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when enrolling. You may not create accounts for other people without their explicit consent. You may not share your account with others.
By enrolling, you consent to the last 4 digits of your phone number being displayed on your verification links. This is used to help recipients confirm that a link belongs to you and was not copied from someone else.

By entering your phone number and enrolling in Authentk, you consent to receive a one-time verification code via SMS from Authentk. This message is sent through Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, and is used solely to verify your phone number.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. The only SMS you will receive from Authentk is the verification code required during enrollment.
To opt out of SMS messages from Authentk, email [email protected]. Please note that opting out will prevent you from enrolling or re-enrolling in the service.
You agree to use Authentk only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:
Authentk provides cryptographic proof that a photo was captured on a specific device at a specific time. We do not guarantee that the person in the photo is who they claim to be. We do not verify names, identities, ages, or intentions. Use your own judgment when interacting with others online.
The service is provided "as is." We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
Authentk offers a 30-day free trial and a paid Pro subscription. New accounts receive a 30-day trial period during which all features are available. After the trial period ends, a Pro subscription is required to continue creating and sharing verified photos.
Pro accounts receive unlimited verifications, additional features, and up to 5 guest verification requests per calendar month.
Unused guest verification tokens do not roll over to the following month. Guest tokens expire 24 hours after creation if not completed.
Subscription fees are billed in advance. All sales are final unless required by applicable law. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.
Pro users may send guest verification requests to other people. By sending a guest verification request, you represent that you have the recipient's willing consent to ask them to verify themselves. The recipient must install Authentk and complete a live photo capture to fulfil the request.
When a person completes a guest verification request, a small watermarked preview photo and their phone's last 4 digits are shared with you as the requester. This data is automatically deleted within 24 hours. You may not save, distribute, or use this information for any purpose other than confirming the person's authenticity in that moment.
Guest verification records do not affect the verified person's account, subscription, or free trial period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Authentk and all associated technology, software, algorithms, cryptographic methods, branding, and content are the exclusive property of HSL Bedrock Holdings, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, trade secret, and patent laws. The Authentk name, logo, and product are trademarks or pending trademarks of HSL Bedrock Holdings, LLC. Unauthorised use of any Authentk mark is strictly prohibited.
Patent Notice. One or more U.S. patent applications are pending that cover methods and systems embodied in the Authentk service, including without limitation methods for media authenticity verification, tamper-evident media fingerprinting, and cryptographic identity binding. The marks "Patent Pending" and "Pat. Pend." as used in connection with Authentk refer to these pending applications. Reproduction or use of any patented or patent-pending method or system, in whole or in part, without the express written authorisation of HSL Bedrock Holdings, LLC is strictly prohibited.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms. This licence does not include any right to:
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by HSL Bedrock Holdings, LLC. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the service may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HSL Bedrock Holdings, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of the defence of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defences. You may not settle any such claim without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Authentk and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to losses resulting from reliance on a verification, interactions with other users, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email if you have provided one. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
